SSEMWG Panels at SCSC 2025

The Society for the Study of Early Modern Women and Gender (SSEMWG) is offering sponsorship for panels and roundtables on women and gender in the early modern era. Please note: SSEMWG-sponsored sessions are pre-approved for inclusion in the conference program.
  
Proposals seeking SSEMWG sponsorship should include the following: 
  • Discipline, chosen from the following:
      • Art & Architectural History
      • Bodies, Nature, Knowledge (formerly History of Science & Medicine)
      • Digital Humanities & Pedagogy
      • English Literature
      • French Literature
      • German & Dutch Studies
      • Global History
      • History
      • Interdisciplinary Studies
      • Italian Studies
      • Professional & Career Development
      • Reformation Studies
      • Religion & Theology
      • Sidney and Spenser Studies
      • Spanish, Portuguese, & Latin American Studies
  • Session Title
  • Session Abstract (up to 300 words)
  • Name, email, phone, and affiliate institution of organizer(s), chair, commentator (if applicable), and presenters
  • For panels (not roundtables), please also include for each presenter:
    • Paper Title
    • Paper Abstract (up to 250 words)
    • Presenter biography or brief CV (max. 150 words, including affiliation, rank, and 1 or 2 important publications, or other evidence of scholarship)
    • Audiovisual requirements
The SCSC encourages submissions from international scholars, advanced graduate students, independent and early-career scholars, and postdoctoral researchers.
