{"id":10929,"date":"2023-11-07T16:02:39","date_gmt":"2023-11-07T15:02:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/siefar.org\/?p=10929"},"modified":"2023-11-07T16:02:39","modified_gmt":"2023-11-07T15:02:39","slug":"ssemwg-graduate-student-travel-grants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ancien.siefar.org\/en\/ssemwg-graduate-student-travel-grants\/","title":{"rendered":"SSEMWG Graduate Student Travel Grants"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>What:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Each year, the Society for the Study of Early Modern Women and Gender provides\u00a0<strong>travel support for up to six graduate students<\/strong>\u00a0to present their work at national or international conferences.\u00a0 Travel costs up to $400 each will be supported.\u00a0 Eligible individuals are advised to follow the application instructions provided below.<\/p>\n<p><strong>When:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Travel grant applications will be accepted twice a year.\u00a0 Expressions of interest with full conference and paper details should be directed to the SSEMWG Vice President (currently Michelle Dowd, mmdowd1@ua.edu) by\u00a0<u>January 1<\/u>\u00a0(for spring\/summer conferences) and\u00a0<u>September 1<\/u>\u00a0(for fall conferences).<\/p>\n<p><strong>How to apply:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please provide the following information with your expression of interest:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brief letter from a faculty member or graduate adviser verifying your status in a graduate program;<\/li>\n<li>Conference paper details (title, panel, etc.);<\/li>\n<li>Confirmation of conference paper acceptance\/invitation;<\/li>\n<li>Conference details (including date &amp;
